BIO
Taran Mitchell is an Irish film and television composer based between London and Los Angeles. For the past five years, he has worked closely with Grammy-winning composer Lorne Balfe, contributing to major projects including Life On Our Planet, The Wheel of Time, Novocaine, Gran Turismo, and Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.
He was the lead composer on Netflix’s Alexander: The Making of a God, creating a score that blends bold orchestral writing with modern, textural sound. Most recently, he served as score producer on the upcoming BBC/Disney series The War Between the Land and the Sea.
Beyond film and TV, Taran has written music for Nike, Adidas, and the FIFA World Cup, bringing the same energy and storytelling approach to global campaigns.
